What you write is yours
The intention and note spaces are private to your account. Row level security in the database restricts every read and write of them to the account that created them — not as a rule the application follows, but as a constraint the database enforces. We do not read them, and we do not sell them.
Reading needs no account
The daily verse at seen.day, known.day and held.day is anonymous. No sign-in, and nothing that identifies you is required to read it. An account exists only if you want somewhere to keep what you write.
How a day is written
Scripture is searched over public-domain translations we hold ourselves. Writing a day sends the theme and the candidate verses to a language model provider. Nothing a reader has written is ever sent — the two never meet.
Scripture and copyright
We store and search only public-domain texts: the King James Version, the World English Bible, and the Book of Mormon. Where a licensed translation is ever displayed, it is fetched by reference at the moment of reading and not retained.
Still to be written
Analytics, cookies, how long accounts and their contents are kept, the jurisdiction this operates under, and how to request deletion. These are decisions rather than descriptions of the code, so they are not claimed here until they are made.
